Welcome to Manchester Intermediate School! I am proud to be your principal, Tommy Baldwin. This is my third year as principal at MIS and I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my time here. Besides being your child's principal, I am married to my wife, Kylie, and am the father to four wonderful kids: Kenna, Teagen, Konnor, and Tinley. We currently reside in Columbia City, Indiana, where I taught and was Athletic Director for nine years prior to entering into my present role. I have an undergraduate degree from Indiana State University and a Master's Degree from PFW.

I very much believe in educating the whole child. Your child is more to you than just a data point, and at MIS, that is our belief, as well. We want to teach your child all of the pertinent academic standards for each grade level, of course. However, we strive to stress the importance of their growth socially, as well. We truly believe that it is our mission to prepare students for their next steps in life. Along with that, we make every attempt to make school an inviting and welcoming atmosphere! Your child is going to spend 7.5 hours a day with us for 180 days a year and I want that to be a place that they enjoy coming as much as possible.
